Students for Students seeks to fund educational achievement, extracurricular programming, and professional development.
EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT
We support projects that address literacy gaps among immigrant populations by providing programs such as:
English Classes
Conversation Groups/ Book Groups
One on One Tutoring/ Small Group Tutoring
Citizenship test classes
GED classes
Cultural and arts programs.
EXTRACURRICULAR PROGRAMMING
We support programming in and out of school for youth K-12 who have immigrated to the US or whose parents’ immigrated to the US such as:
Tutoring and mentoring programs
Career and college readiness programs
Cultural and arts programs.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
We support organizations that provide services for immigrants to achieve professional growth such as:
Resume-building
Interview preparation
Teaching networking skills
Planning for specific career goals
Offering career-specific training.
